WHAT IT REQUIRES TO GET A TRANSIT VISA FOR CANADA
A transit visa is required. Suppose your international flight stops at a Canadian airport on its way to another country. In that case, you’ll be connecting between two international flights at a Canadian airport, you’ll transit through Canada in a couple of days or less, and you don’t have a valid visitor visa.
WE PROCESS YOUR TRANSIT VISA APPLICATION
We’ll evaluate your application after sending it to ensure it is complete and includes all required papers. We won’t handle it if it’s incomplete. We’ll get it back to you. If your application justifies all the needs, the visa office may request that you undergo medical examinations, obtain a police certificate, and attend an interview.
If you need to get through any of these steps, we’ll inform you what to do. Most transit visa applications are processed in a few weeks or less. The length of time it takes to process your visa depends on the visa office and whether or not you need to complete any additional processes. After processing your application, we’ll return your passport and other original documents to you. Original bank statements and other papers found to be forged will not be returned.
