Anita Chandhar, a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (R710023), is a first-generation Indo-Canadian, child of Indian origin parents who immigrated in the 1970s to Canada. Throughout her life, she has seen many immigrants, including her own extended family struggle to immigrate to Canada for a better future for themselves and their children. She didn’t realize earlier in life that this could be a career – helping people to understand how to immigrate to Canada. The thought of becoming an Immigration Consultant crossed her mind throughout the years, but she had a full-time job and a young family to raise – so this possibility seemed too unrealistic. However, the pandemic brought on by COVID was a blessing in disguise for Anita. She had a chance to re-evaluate her life and decide what she really wanted to do. So, she left her job of 17 years and jumped into a new career. She is doing this not only to help people to immigrate to Canada but also as a necessity for her family. The pandemic gave her the opportunity to spend more time with her 2 boys than she has ever spent in the last 10 years. Being an Immigration Consultant gives her the flexibility to have a better work/life balance.
Bronwyn Brink-Beukes, a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (R710041), brings a wealth of experience to her role. Before transitioning to immigration consulting, Bronwyn practiced law in Cape Town, South Africa for over 15 years. Her legal career included managing one of the largest conveyancing practices in the country, where she navigated intricate property transactions and real estate matters.
In 2018, Bronwyn embarked on a new chapter by moving to Canada. Initially drawn to the picturesque town of Canmore in Alberta, surrounded by the beauty of the Rocky Mountains. The call of the ocean eventually led her to the vibrant city of Vancouver, where she now resides. Her personal experience with the immigration process gives her a unique perspective on the complexities involved with immigration, which fuels her passion for assisting others.
